The ideal candidate will perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role is crucial in assisting physicians with early detection and diagnosis of breast abnormalities.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols.Ensure proper positioning and imaging techniques to produce optimal images for radiologist interpretation.Educate patients on the procedure, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Accurately document patient history and maintain records following HIPAA and facility guidelines.Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Adhere to regulatory requirements for quality assurance and control.Qualifications:ARRT (R)(M) certification required.NJ State licensureMinimum of 3 years of experience in mammography.Strong knowledge of mammographic positioning and imaging techniques.Excellent communication and patient care skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with GE equipment is preferred.
