Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – California
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Santa Monica, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time schedule with every other Saturday rotation (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Daily caseload of 30+ patients in a 2-room Breast Center environment.
Highlights:
- 266-bed acute care hospital located beachside in beautiful Southern California
- Specialized Breast Center performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Epic charting system for seamless documentation
- Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Opportunity to utilize advanced imaging technology including 3D mammography and stereotactic procedures
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
- Valid California state license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- Current BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (M), and CRT (M) certifications
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
- Initial qualifications: 40 hours mammography training and 25 supervised mammography exams
- Documented completion of minimum 200 mammograms in the last 24 months
- 15 CEUs in mammography within the last 36 months
- 8 hours digital training and 8 hours 3D mammography training required
- LA County fire card (within last 30 days)
- Skills in 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and PACS
- Experience with Hologic equipment preferred
