Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans with an average volume of approximately 18 scans per day
- Float between two campus locations (approximately 16 minutes apart) as needed
- Participate in call rotation on a one-week-at-a-time basis (Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–6:30 AM, Saturday–Sunday 6:30 AM–6:30 AM) with a one-hour response time requirement
- Respond to call within one hour, including 30 minutes travel time and 30 minutes to have the patient on the table
- Precept other staff as needed by the unit
- Flex out during low-census days when not on call, as occasionally required
- Valid state MRI technologist license (Texas license required)
- ARRT certification in MRI or equivalent
- Experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
- Ability to meet on-call response time requirements
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5T MRI equipment
- Experience precepting or training other technologists
- Ability to float between multiple facility locations
- Opportunity to work in a high-volume MRI environment with consistent daily caseload
