Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring stepdown experience and the ability to support multiple units including ER hold, psych, and inpatient rehab.

Details

• Float pool position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team across multiple acute care units
• Utilizes the nursing process within a Shared Governance model to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to promote evidence-based practice and a healing culture
• This position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana; the facility conducts its own onsite drug screen, including marijuana, upon arrival — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
