Job Opportunity – Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (OB/GYN with Fetal Echo) – New Mexico
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Multiple outreach clinics across New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, early morning departure (5:15 AM) with return by 6:30–7:00 PM daily; Monday through Friday with travel to rotating clinic locations
Highlights:
- Travel-based position serving multiple clinic locations throughout New Mexico via outreach van
- Perform low and high-level women's imaging for pregnant patients using state-of-the-art GE equipment (E22, E10, S10)
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision in a dynamic, autonomous role
- Charting in Cerner; 16 hours of orientation provided
- Minimum 10-week assignment with potential for extension
- Exposure to diverse maternal fetal medicine and high-risk OB caseloads
Requirements:
- ARDMS certifications required: OB/GYN, Abdomen, and Fetal Echo (ARDMS FE is mandatory)
- BLS certification required
- New Mexico State Sonography License (may pend at submission)
- Minimum 5 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience
- Previous travel experience strongly preferred
- Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility
- Valid driver's license and completion of safe driving module required (will drive outreach van on select days)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine optional
