Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring stepdown experience and the ability to support multiple units including ER hold, psych, and inpatient rehab.
Details
- Float pool position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Stepdown experience required; critical care experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
- Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team across multiple acute care units
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans through a Shared Governance model
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote evidence-based care
- This position is safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
- Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
