Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in converting equipment, is seeking a Machine Adjuster Trainee to join their dedicated team. As a Machine Adjuster Trainee, you will be part of the Production Department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Adjuster Trainee
Location: Mount Pleasant, PA
Pay Range: $19.77/hr
2nd Shift: 3pm – 11pm; Monday – Friday
What's the Job?
- Set up and adjust various types of converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.
- Perform start-up, adjustments involving close tolerances, maintenance, and troubleshooting; change window rolls (overhead).
- Assist in training new adjusters/operators and provide coverage when needed.
- Examine products to ensure quality standards are met and minimize waste.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production and maintain a clean work environment.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant mechanical experience or schooling.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a ruler accurately.
- Basic computer skills and flexibility with machine assignments.
