In order to provide the best customer service to our guests, we would like to add a couple more people to our pools team.

This is a Full Time opening:

      • Mid Shift - 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday


PLEASE NOTE: up to half of the Shift will be spent outside inthe elements.QHSR will provide weatherappropriate gearto ensure you are as comfortable as possible.This includes providing a QHSR winter parka, beanies, wicking summer shirts, and ball cap. InSEVEREadverse weather conditions, we will assess the situation and always ensure employees health and safety first.

Tasks/Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • CheckingGuests invia the booking engine Opera;Emphasis oncomputer skillsin order toprovide customer service checking in, cancelling reservations, booking new reservations, responding to Guests emails/phone calls, andprovidingreports as needed.Computer skillsalsoneeded to view company information, policies, and instructional job information viaSharePoint.Check In workstation is to beoccupied by a PSA at all times.
  • Monitoring (constantly) and addressing guest behavior in the pools as necessary while on thepooldeck.Pooldeck must be monitored by a PSA at all times.
  • Organizingregistrationcards toensure info matches info in Operaafter each Check In.
  • Company communication is primarily through Outlook email, but will also share info, attend meetings, or post job related info via Teams.
  • Preparing Day Swim Guests Wristbands before they arrive for their reservation viaOQMate.
  • Answering phones and providing guests with answers to all questions related to thePools and theresort in general.Returning missed calls/voicemail messages before 8pm.
  • CheckingSwim Shared email toassistguests with requests or needspertaining toSwim Reservations.
  • Providing water toguestsat theservicewindow and on thepooldeckhourly.
  • Washing, drying, and folding laundryon an ongoing basis;handing outtowels to Guests.
  • Monitoring the cleanliness and upkeep of the changing rooms, restocking products (toilet paper, paper towels, feminine napkin dispenser bags, etc.),takeout trashas needed.
  • Maintaining and preparing for the arrival of guests. This includesmonitoringthe cleanliness of the pool area by picking up discarded cups/trash, arranging/straightening deck furniture, turnon/offfire pits, etc.Tables must be cleaned afterguests use them for meals; any dishes will be placed in the tub in thepoolsidebar.
  • Learning andmonitoringthe health ofpoolsandpoolwaterlevels.Skimmingpools hourly, cleaningpoolskimmerbaskets once pershift,and monitoringpooltemps.
  • Learning the various functions and responsibilities associated with thepumproom.Employeesmust be comfortable learning this and performing basic functions.*Pump adjustments, Skimmer adjustments, etc.
  • Testing LSI of Pools 6 and 7(Saltwater Pools)accurately calculatingpooladjustments as needed, and addingchemicals to the pools as directed.
  • Procuringheadcountsand recording them on thedailychecklist.
  • Restockingchangingrooms: TP dispensers,papertowel dispensers,handsoap dispensers,allshower dispensers (shampoo,conditioner,andbodywash) at the end of eachshift.Restocking thesupplycloset as needed.
  • Misc. duties include light duty cleaning ofpoolsreception area, tidyingpooldeck, restocking,labelingand logginglost &found items, stairs leading to the Pool Deckand clean break area,etc.
  • Checkinglockers each night to ensure they are working correctly.Sending communicationto manager regardingany thatneed repairs.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skillswith coworkers and guests.
  • Ability to address behavior issues anddeterminethe best course of action. This includes managing challenging situations involving children, intoxicated adults, and other guest-related concerns in a professional andappropriate manner.
  • Willingness/ability to learn and enforcealltherules and guidelines of the pool complex area.
  • Experience/Willingness to learn Computer Skills associated with the PSA job
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions including rain, snow, high winds, extreme heat/cold.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability tolift upto 30lbsunassisted (trash, laundry,etc).

Wage:

$17 to $18 per hour starting, depending on shift, wage review at 6 months. Lots of room to grow as you knowledge of the pool systems expands.
