About this job
Job Description
Hear from our CEO, Guillaume de Zwirek, about why we are standing at the edge of the biggest technological shift in healthcare’s history!
- Technical Architecture & Deal Strategy: Serve as the technical authority during the pre-sales cycle, defining the ideal future-state architecture and ensuring seamless technical alignment between prospect ecosystems and Artera’s platform.
- Technical Discovery & Requirements Analysis: Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospects to evaluate system architecture, workflow needs, and data integration requirements.
- Workflow Design & Agentic Solutions Architecture: Architect and propose optimized solutions for healthcare workflows using Artera’s AI suite, explaining how AI can safely reason, call tools, and interact with patients via voice and text.
- Strategic Product Demonstrations: Lead compelling, value-driven demonstrations of the Artera platform for prospective clients. Go beyond feature-clicking to tell a cohesive story of how our core software and AI capabilities seamlessly orchestrate patient communication, collapse operational overhead, and improve patient access metrics.
- Rapid Prototyping & Simulations: Leverage AI tooling to rapidly construct proof-of-concepts and workflow simulations to illustrate solutions for unique use cases during the sales cycle.
- Technical Concept Communication: Translate complex AI/ML concepts (e.g., context windows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Model Context Protocol) into highly clear, value-driven information for clinical, operational, and executive C-suite stakeholders.
- Technical Continuity & Deployment Handoff: Act as the technical guide during the transition from sales to service rollout. Provide consultative, high-level oversight to Artera’s post-sales delivery teams to guarantee the architectural integrity of the scoped AI workflows is preserved during implementation.
- RFP/RFI & Security Review Leadership: Author definitive, technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, demonstrating how Artera satisfies both functional and compliance requirements.
- Technical Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering or technical consulting, with a strong emphasis on working in a pre-sales capacity.
- System Interoperability Acumen: Deep understanding of how systems communicate. You can comfortably read API documentation, map complex data fields, evaluate payloads/webhooks, and can pinpoint data dependencies during early-stage discovery.
- AI & LLM Literacy: Firm grasp of Agentic AI paradigms, including token limits, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data pipelines, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) framework.
- Patient Access Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with healthcare operations. You understand the operational friction points surrounding centralized scheduling, patient intake/registration, and referral management, allowing you to speak the same language as healthcare operations leaders.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Exceptional analytical skills with a collaborative approach to whiteboarding, architecture modeling, and solving edge-case workflow gaps.
- AI Ecosystem Tooling: Hands-on experience interacting with LLMs systematically or leveraging automated dev tools (Claude Code/Co-Work, Gemini Gems, LangChain, etc.) to boost operational output.
- Healthcare Interoperability: Experience with healthcare data exchanges and APIs, specifically HL7v2 and FHIR standards.
At Artera, we believe the best work happens when people are truly connected. Our AI services model has shown what’s possible when small, focused teams move fast together — the speed of collaboration, pace of career growth, and quality of what we build can become stronger when teams share space. As we grow, we want every new teammate to feel part of an in-person community from day one.
That’s why we are focusing our U.S. hiring in three cities, where we are investing in offices and building strong local teams:
- Santa Barbara, CA (Our HQ)
- Seattle, WA
- Kansas City, KS/MO
Unless a role’s posting states otherwise, new U.S. roles are based in one of these three cities, and candidates should reside in (or be willing to relocate to) one of these areas. Each location follows an in-person schedule that reflects how our local teams work best; we’ll walk you through what to expect for your specific role and city during the interview process.
Focusing on offices and hiring in a few locations, rather than spreading thin across many cities, lets us invest deeply in each one so every team has real community, mentorship, and momentum in person.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
