Bilingual Spanish Nurse Practitioner

Experienced Nurse Practitioner opportunity only 20 miles from New York City.  Office is often solo Provider, so experience is a must.  Many of the patients that visit the Practice are Spanish Speaking so all candidates must be Bilingual, English and Spanish.  Great opportunity to live near NYC but in more affordable New Jersey suburb.  

About the experienced Nurse Practitioner opportunity

• Busy office- 40 patients a day
• Mostly adults (very few patients under aga 18.  Practice leans more toward Geriatric population
• Mix of patients visits for chronic medical disease and acute visits
• 2 office locations within a few miles of each other
• Training is one month and expectation is that some days will be solo Provider in the office (experience is required)
• Office hours are 9-4:30, Monday- Friday, and one Saturday a month (shared rotation with team)
• EMR is Athena
• 3-4 Medical Assistants and RN at each office to promote team approach
• Women's Health, acute visits for URI, UTI, pneumonia, rash, and chronic presentations like RAD, CHF, Hypertension, Diabetes, COPD
• Office has EKG, Pulse oximetry and Nebulizer, IV hydration, Skin biopsy, Women's Health exam

 Requirements of the experienced NP opportunity

• Master's Degree
• National Certification
• New Jersey State Medical License
• Bilingual Spanish and English
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working as only Provider in an office
• Over one year of experience in busy outpatient clinic- (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine)
