Help Desk Desktop Support

Responsibilities

• Respond to help desk tickets, emails, and phone requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions and provide clear instructions to non-technical staff.
• Log and track all support requests using the company’s ticketing system.
• Assist with software installations, updates, and system configurations.
• Maintain and update IT knowledge base articles and user guides.
• Support IT team with hardware inventory management and equipment setup.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and common software applications.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Customer-focused attitude with patience and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
