Member Service Representative - Part-Time (Regular or Seasonal)

Description:

Saco Valley Credit Union, a 2025 Best Place to Work in Maine, is looking for a Part-Time Member Service Representative to provide welcoming, professional, and reliable service to our members. This position may be structured as either a regular part-time role or a seasonal part-time role, depending on business needs and candidate availability. This role will primarily support our two Saco branches with day-to-day operations.

In this role, you’ll help members with banking needs including transactions, account services, and digital banking support while building strong relationships and delivering excellent service.

What You’ll Do

• Assist members with transactions and account questions
• Open accounts and help members with additional services
• Support online and mobile banking needs
• Resolve member issues with professionalism and care
• Work collaboratively with branch team members

Requirements:

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort using computers and learning new systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Physical and Work Environment

This position operates in an office environment and requires:

• Prolonged periods of working at a computer and remaining in a stationary position.
• Moving within the branch to assist members and complete daily tasks.
