🕒 Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: Days | 3x12-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Block Scheduling: ❌ Not available
• Call Requirements:
  • 1–2 call shifts per week
  • Two 48-hour weekend call shifts every 8 weeks
  • 30-minute response time required

💼 Job Responsibilities

As a CVOR Tech, you will:

• Assist surgeons during pediatric cardiac procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety at all times
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
• Support procedures involving:
  • Cardiopulmonary bypass
  • ECMO cannulation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams in a fast-paced OR
• Anticipate surgeon needs and respond efficiently during critical moments

✅ Requirements

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) – Required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR / cardiac surgery experience
• Experience in cardiac surgery (required)
• Pediatric cardiac experience – strongly preferred
• Adult CT surgery experience accepted
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and OR protocols

• First-time travelers accepted (with required experience)
• Max 5 RTO days – must be submitted upfront
• No block scheduling unless requesting weekends only (Fri–Sun)
