Job Summary:
A Pediatric Physical Therapist position is available in Clovis, New Mexico. This inpatient and outpatient role involves evaluating and treating infants, children, and adolescents with various health conditions, focusing on motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, and gait. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position involves working across multiple settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, home health care, and inpatient emergency departments.

Job Details:

  • Location: Clovis, NM

  • Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
    • Must have a New Mexico Physical Therapist (PT) License
    • BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
    • Must have inpatient and outpatient experience
    • At least one year of Pediatric Physical Therapy experience if working in pediatrics
    • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment
    • Two (2) years current experience in the specialty
    • Basic computer skills
    • Understanding of rules and regulations of specific settings
    • Knowledge of principles of growth and development
    • Rehabilitative program design skills
    • Patient advocacy skills
    • Motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, and gait assessment skills
    • Excellent interviewing and physical examination skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience; training available onsite
    • Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Additional Information:

    • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.
    • The position involves working in inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based care, home health, and inpatient emergency departments.
    • The role requires teamwork and flexibility.
