Job Summary:
The Massachusetts-based CT Technologist position is located in Falmouth. The role involves performing computerized tomography procedures under the supervision of the manager, utilizing ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification from an accredited CT program or current registration in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control; high school diploma or GED; graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiography Program; 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; 1 year of recent (within last 5 years) CT Technologist experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility setting, strong knowledge of safety and infection control protocols, excellent patient communication skills
- Additional Information: The role requires attention to technical detail, independent judgment, and the ability to operate and maintain complex imaging equipment. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating control consoles, evaluating image quality, and maintaining accurate radiology records. The candidate must comply with all departmental policies, infection control standards, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
