Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Department: Radiology – Interventional Radiology
Position Summary : The Radiology Specialist Assistant provides patient care services under the supervision of a physician in accordance with approved clinical privileges. This role supports Interventional Radiology procedures, performs patient assessments, assists with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and collaborates with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Education
Graduate of an approved program acceptable to the New York State Education Department.
Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required.
Required Certifications
Current ARRT Certification in Radiography.
BLS (Basic Life Support).
