Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Labor & Delivery position in Carmel, Indiana, working night shifts in a high-acuity, collaborative obstetric care environment.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a 124-bed suburban hospital facility
- Unit includes 8 L&D beds, 2 ORs, 3 triage beds, 4 high-risk antepartum beds, 25 mother-baby beds, and a 16-bed Level III NICU
- High-acuity obstetric patient population with approximately 250 deliveries per month
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- Weekend and holiday coverage required per unit need
- AWHONN staffing guidelines followed to ensure safe, evidence-based patient ratios
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IN or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- ACLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- NRP and NRP Advanced certifications required (AHA/AAP-issued)
- Fetal monitoring certification required — AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent program within the past 2 years
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
