Physical Therapist - Home Health Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is no weekend work required.
Job DescriptionThe Physical Therapist will provide home health services to patients within a 60-mile radius. The role includes evaluating patient needs and developing appropriate treatment plans to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
- Implement and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress in the EMR system (Meditech).
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for enhanced patient care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy, preferably in a home health setting.
- Current Missouri Physical Therapist State license (PT compact privileges possible).
- BLS certification required.
