Vias Imports has been a dynamic importer and distributor of fine wines since 1985. A family-owned company representing family-owned wineries, Vias has spent nearly four decades becoming an icon in the fine wine category — dedicated to expressing the history, sense of place, and devotion to craft of every producer we represent through the art of wine.
The Sales Consultant represents Vias in the market as a member of the Vias family. We are seeking an experienced individual for a prime, established Hudson Valley territory. This role centers on maintaining current customer sales, growing revenue, and bringing on top-tier new accounts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Building relationships and expanding distribution across both on- and off-premise accounts
Maintaining strong relationships with established customers while growing incremental business within their establishments
Cold calling on- and off-premise accounts to develop new relationships and drive growth
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 years of proven, successful experience in the wine industry at the wholesale level
A self-motivated, positive, and energetic attitude, with the ability to work closely with the sales team, senior management, marketing, and office personnel
