Skilled Carpenter

The Skilled Carpenter will engage in a variety of agricultural, commercial, residential, and mixed construction projects, working within medium-sized teams under guided supervision. This role requires hands-on experience and a commitment to collaboration, safety, and quality craftsmanship, with opportunities for growth through mentorship and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural framing and finishing work using power tools and hand tools
• Interpret and execute blueprints accurately
• Collaborate effectively with a medium-sized team (4-7 members) to complete projects
• Handle and manage construction materials safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols on site
• Conduct measurement and layout tasks with precision
• Operate concrete forming and other carpentry-related tasks
• Identify and resolve problems encountered during construction

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of building construction experience in agricultural, commercial, residential, or mixed projects
• Proficient in framing, finish carpentry, and concrete forming
• Skilled in blueprint reading for varied construction projects
• Experienced with power tool operation and hand tool use
• Strong adherence to safety standards and teamwork principles
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in the construction environment
