Dayshift Warehouse Supervisor - Now Hiring

Fabuwood is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Ready-to-Ship (RTS) Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the Ready-to-Ship area, from the box machine through shipping staging. This role is responsible for leading the RTS team, maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring product quality, and promoting a positive, safety-first work environment.The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage people, productivity, and inventory while ensuring smooth operations and timely shipment flow.Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7:30am-12:00pmResponsibilitiesSafety & EquipmentPromote and maintain a strong safety-first culture throughout the departmentPerform daily checks of conveyors, box machines, and related equipment to ensure proper operationIdentify and report safety concerns or equipment issues promptlyTeam Leadership & Workflow ManagementLead and support pickers and RTS team members with a positive and professional attitudeMonitor productivity levels to prevent delays and minimize unnecessary overtimeEnsure consistent product flow from the box machine to put-away and staging areasCommunicate operational priorities clearly to the teamLabor ManagementAssign daily tasks and responsibilities to maximize team efficiencyEnsure all employees are properly utilized throughout the shiftMonitor staffing needs and control overtime while maintaining productivity goalsSupplies & Inventory ControlTrack packaging and operational supplies to ensure adequate inventory levelsReorder supplies proactively to prevent stock shortagesVerify inventory counts and maintain accurate records as neededQuality ControlOversee proper handling of boxes and products from production through shipping stagingEnsure products are handled carefully to prevent damageMaintain quality standards and address issues immediately when identifiedQualificationsPrevious warehouse, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing leadership experience preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsKnowledge of warehouse safety practices and operational proceduresAbility to motivate and hold team members accountableWhy Fabuwood?Fabuwood is a leading cabinet manufacturer based in Newark, New Jersey, serving a nationwide network of dealers across the United States and Canada.
