Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 3 Trauma, 154-bed hospital in Paris, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and AHA certifications.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) department at a 154-bed acute care hospital
- Level 3 Trauma designation; also features a Level 1 NICU, Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center, and top 5% national orthopedic outcomes
- Serves both Northeast TX and Southeast OK as the most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license valid in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of OR/surgical nursing experience
- AHA certifications required prior to start
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- Hospital is located approximately 110 miles northeast of Dallas near the Texas-Oklahoma border
