Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with potential extended hours based on workload)
Key Responsibilities- Perform myocardial perfusion imaging studies in a high-volume outpatient/inpatient setting
- Conduct HIDA scans and bone scans as scheduled
- Operate a GE 630 dual-head gamma camera for nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Ensure accurate patient preparation, radiopharmaceutical administration, and image acquisition
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental protocols
- Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Active state licensure or eligibility to practice in Tennessee
- Proficiency with dual-head gamma camera operation
- Experience performing myocardial perfusion studies independently
- Ability to work flexible hours based on daily workload demands
- Prior experience with GE gamma camera systems
- Experience in a small or community hospital setting
- Familiarity with HIDA and bone scan protocols
- Travel candidates are eligible for full stipends and travel reimbursements
