Dog Swim Coach / Lifeguard @ Rummy's Beach Club: - Now Hiring

Rummy's Beach Club is a one-of-a-kind private 1-acre dog park & private swimming pool for dogs open all year - this is NOT just a summer job. We are looking for a Dog Swim Coach that will work all year for several years. This position involves swimming pool maintenance, private dog park maintenance, managing dogs in the pool, providing outstanding customer service for clients, taking pictures and videos of dogs and communicating with other team members. Knowledge of some of these job duties are required, other job duties we will teach you. Many of our dogs have behavioral issues or special needs such as arthritis, injuries, reactivity, etc. Some of our pet parents are elderly or have their own special needs. We need upbeat, positive-minded, self-starters who know how to make dogs happy and people laugh. You will be with each client and their dogs for one or two hours and will need to be able to hold conversations with clients while handling the dogs. Rummy's is a place for clients and their dogs to have a great time and get some good exercise - you are here to help that happen. Required Experience: 2 years of working / volunteering with dogs REQUIRED. Explain in detail your experience working with dogs. Owning dogs is NOT experience. Experience with fearful, aggressive, handicapped, problem dogs is helpful. ****Dog rescue or shelter experience preferred. 1-2 years of lifeguard experience with CPR & AED Certification 1-2 years of Customer Service Explain in detail your experiences. Other Requirements: Must work weekends & holidays Must be able to walk around an acre of land and in the pool outdoors 6-8 hours at a time all year. This is a physically and mentally demanding job. BONUS Experience that is helpful @ Rummy's: Human or Animal Medical Experience (Vet Techs, Nurses, etc.) Pool Maintenance Experience Marketing / Social Media / Photography Experience Part-time - weather dependent $10-15 per hour
