Location: Jesup, GA (or surrounding area)
Salary: $70,000-$120,000

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee concrete operations across commercial, industrial, and civil projects. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all phases of concrete work to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise and proven leadership in self-performed concrete work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all concrete activities including formwork, rebar, pours, finishing, and curing (slabs, foundations, flatwork, tilt-up, structural).
• Supervise self-perform crews and subcontractors across site concrete and related scopes (grading, excavation, paving, curb/gutter).
• Develop pour plans, manage sequencing, and coordinate logistics with suppliers and batch plants.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct daily briefings, and maintain compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Ensure quality control and testing per project specs and ACI standards.
• Review drawings, identify constructability issues, and coordinate with project teams.
• Track schedule, costs, manpower, and provide reporting and forecasts.
• Oversee finishing techniques and large placements, including tilt-up and mass pours.
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor field staff and promote a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of concrete construction experience, including superintendent-level leadership.
• Strong expertise in cast-in-place, flatwork, foundations, tilt-up, and mass concrete.
• Preferred experience with self-perform site work (grading, GAB, paving, utilities).
• Proven ability to manage large pours and logistics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
