A well-established and reputable construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join its team. What You'll Do

The Construction Superintendent oversees all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supervising field staff and daily operations
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades, and vendors
• Acting as liaison between field teams and project management
• Managing schedules, materials, and workforce planning
• Resolving construction challenges and maintaining productivity
• Monitoring project budgets and resource allocation
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards (OSHA)
• Maintaining documentation and reporting
• Reviewing submittals and issuing RFIs
• Supporting quality control and project planning efforts
• Mentoring and developing field personnel

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction industry experience
• 5+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong background in commercial construction (general, industrial, or restoration)
• Hands-on experience in trades such as concrete, masonry, carpentry, or site work
• Ability to read blueprints and manage site layout and grades
• Strong scheduling and project coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tools like Procore, Sage/Timberline, or Microsoft Project is a plus
• Valid driver's license with insurable record
• Ability to pass background screening
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 30 and CPR certification
