Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position begins August 20, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, spanning the full school year. You'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30am to 3:30pm, providing vital SLP services to a well-managed caseload of approximately 35 students—primarily in grades K-6, with occasional interaction across K-12.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Special Education - Speech and Language Impaired PK-12 OR Educational Specialist Certificate for School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12 (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) and Pennsylvania licensure (preferred)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions to maximize each student’s success
- Consult with staff and families to promote generalization of communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all state and federal requirements
- Utilize one permitted work-from-home day each week to complete teletherapy or administrative tasks
