Saw Operator – Fabrication Shop
Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay: $18
HireCall is seeking a dependable and experienced Saw Operator to join a busy fabrication team in Broken Arrow. This hands-on position is ideal for someone with experience in metal fabrication, pipe cutting, and shop operations who takes pride in precision and quality workmanship.
The ideal candidate will understand piping materials, diameters, wall thicknesses, and fabrication processes while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate shop bandsaws, drill presses, and standard metal fabrication equipment
  • Measure and cut pipe and metal materials to precise specifications using blueprints and work orders
  • Read and interpret fabrication prints and tape measurements accurately
  • Identify pipe diameters, material grades, and heat numbers for tracking and logging purposes
  • Work with a variety of materials including:
    • Pipe
    • Round bar
    • Square stock
    • Plastics
    • Various metal materials
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the shop
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and production standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating bandsaws and fabrication shop equipment required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Strong understanding of pipe materials, diameters, and grading systems
  • Forklift experience preferred (2+ years strongly preferred)
  • Must be able to pass a tape measure test
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
