Forklift Operator (High Reach / Stand-Up)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with a strong background operating High Reach and Stand-Up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work at heights while handling inventory efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach and Stand-Up forklifts to move, stage, and store products
• Safely retrieve and place inventory in racking systems at elevated heights
• Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, trailers, and staging areas
• Verify product accuracy using RF scanners, pick lists, or work orders
• Maintain proper inventory placement and organization within the warehouse
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues
• Follow OSHA safety standards and always company policies
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent High Reach and Stand-Up forklift experience
• Proven ability to work at heights and in narrow aisles
• Forklift certification preferred (or able to certify onsite)
• Strong safety record and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Skills

• Experience of using RF scanners or WMS systems
• Distribution center or high-volume warehouse experience
• Cherry picker or additional equipment experience
• Shipping, receiving, or order-picking background

Work Environment

• Warehouse/distribution center setting
• Work performed at heights and in narrow aisles
• Climate may vary depending on facility
• PPE required (safety shoes, vest, etc.)
