Job Description
Adecco Staffing is hiring 2nd and 3rd Shift Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, a stable work environment, and strong long-term growth potential.
Shift & Days:
2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
3rd Shift – Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay: $22.00 – $23.00/hour
Location: Ayer, MA
Job Duties:
· Read work orders and request appropriate supplies based on lot numbers and storage locations
· Communicate with forklift drivers to ensure materials are delivered to production lines in a timely manner
· Verify that the correct supplies, including caps, bottles, labels, and cases, are being used
· Monitor production rates to ensure output goals are met
· Track and support Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) initiatives
· Assist in maintaining efficient production flow and minimizing downtime
· Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required (food manufacturing preferred)
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills required
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards is a plus

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
