  • Manage subcontractor performance, conduct coordination meetings, and hold trades accountable to schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and assist with cost tracking, change order documentation, and closeout deliverables.
  • Mentor and support assistant superintendents and supervisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing field team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction finish supervision, with at least 3 years as a Finish Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on multi-family, mid-rise, or high-rise projects.
  • Proven experience with interior finishes including drywall, painting, flooring, millwork, ceilings, and related trades.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination specific to multi-family and mid/high-rise buildings.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and finish plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, quality control processes, punch lists, and closeout procedures.
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or Procore) and proficiency with reporting and documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety; OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
