As a BDC Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, engaging with customers via phone and online platforms. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and promoting our services. With a focus on building relationships, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contact new and existing customers to promote current sales offers and set appointments 
  • Create excitement and build trust through inbound/outbound calls, emails, and internet inquiries 
  • Follow BDC scripts, guidelines, and training to ensure consistent communication 
  • Ensure all calls are answered promptly, professionally, and documented accurately in the CRM 
  • Maintain upâ€'toâ€'date knowledge of dealership inventory, product features, promotions, coupons, and advertising 
  • Complete all assigned outbound calls, including noâ€'shows, confirmations, followâ€'ups, and taskâ€'list calls 
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals for appointments set, shown, and outbound activity 
  • Maintain accurate, consistent data entry across all BDC systems 
  • Serve as the communication link between customers and dealership personnel 
  • Adhere to all dealership and BDC policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards 
  • Participate in ongoing skills and product training 
  • Perform additional BDC duties as assigned 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Professional, confident communicator with strong phone and email skills 
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals 
  • Strong customer service mindset and relationshipâ€'building skills 
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well under pressure 
  • Proficient with computers, email, smartphones, and webâ€'based tools 
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred 
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, call center, telemarketing, or automotive BDC roles 
  • Willing to participate in ongoing training and development 
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information 
  • Professional appearance and conduct 
  • Ability to work effectively with dealership personnel at all levels 
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of customer and dealership information 
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends
