About this job
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems.
Support installation and testing of new and existing security system components
Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
Help perform system inspections and basic functional testing.
Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, materials used, and job site conditions.
Follow all company safety procedures, customer site requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and proper working condition.
Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
Travel to job sites as required.
Required to maintain company vehicle.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fire/Security Service Technician or equivalent in industry.
Experience with Honeywell, Vista, Silent Knight, and Firelite required.
Edwards/ EST knowledge a plus.
Growing knowledge of industry standards NFPA, NEC, IBC, Life Safety Codes and UL
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Ability to work independently on customer site
Must be able to work safely with voltage
Must be able to use electronic testing equipment
Other Duties:

Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
Use of hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Pay:
$25 to $30 DOE & Certifications.
