Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ARRT certification, VA licensure, and experience with a broad range of CT procedures including CTAs, brain perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting serving outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU patient populations at a Level II Trauma Center
- 431-bed community hospital
- CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- High-volume environment with a daily caseload of approximately 110 patients
- Charting via Epic
- 3x12-hour evening shifts, Friday through Sunday, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- On-call and holiday rotation required
- No floating to sister facilities required
Requirements
- Active Virginia state license required (90-day temporary permit accepted while permanent license is processing) — license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification
- Current BLS
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
- Proficiency with IV starts, contrast administration, and PACS
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings
- Level II Trauma Center experience required
Additional Information
- Perform a broad range of CT examinations including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Participation in on-call and holiday rotation is required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- Caribbean blue scrubs required
- RTO requests are considered at the manager's discretion
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
