Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Bethel, ME where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and support student learning and professional development. You will follow state practice acts and organizational safety and compliance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Maine physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred, including evaluation, plan-of-care development, goal writing, and documentation.
- Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and infection control procedures.
- Ability to complete documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and support professional development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel or contract outpatient therapy experience preferred.
- Experience working with a variety of musculoskeletal and functional diagnoses preferred.

- Shift pattern: 5x8.
