Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Murray, KY, working in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care, and coordinate discipline-specific therapy services. The role includes patient, family, student and coworker education, and participation in performance improvement and safety initiatives. Candidates must demonstrate professional conduct, maintain licensure and comply with state practice acts and organizational policies.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
  • Active Kentucky physical therapy license is required to start the assignment.
  • Outpatient experience required. New graduates will not be considered.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Demonstrated competence in completing comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, functional assessments, and timely documentation compliant with regulations and payer requirements.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate therapy-related tasks and participate in student clinical education as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with outpatient electronic medical record documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
  • Prior involvement in performance improvement initiatives and professional development activities.


Assignment Details

  • Schedule: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week)
