Join a skilled nursing facility in Gallup, NM as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active New Mexico state license or ability to obtain before start of assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Ability to meet 90% productivity requirement as required by facility policy (client-specific requirement).
  • Willingness to follow facility policies and procedures and to be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours (client-specific requirement).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with dysphagia management and cognitive-communication disorders in a SNF population.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in rehabilitation settings.


Assignment Details

  • Shift name: Days.
  • Dress code: black scrubs (client-specific requirement).
  • Therapist must be present in the building to receive guaranteed hours (client-specific requirement).
  • Therapist expected to follow Continuum Rehabilitation Group policies and procedures (client-specific requirement).

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled speech-language pathology services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing for patients in a skilled nursing environment.
