Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active West Virginia SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dysphagia management and instrumental assessments (e.g., modified barium swallow, FEES) preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and skilled documentation for Medicare and regulatory compliance preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1630.
- Work days include Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat per VMS work days.
- May be required to float to other facilities within the region.
