About this job

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Grand Saline, TX. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills through individualized care and interdisciplinary collaboration.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Texas required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and document patient progress according to facility protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with therapists, nurses, patients, and caregivers.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with common SNF documentation systems preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 8-hour day.
  • Float Required: No.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide hands-on therapy per physician orders and facility protocols. Evaluate patients' functional abilities, develop individualized plans, document progress, and educate patients and caregivers to support continued care and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.
