Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active California SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
  • Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel SLP experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with common SNF documentation systems and Medicare/Medicaid documentation standards preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 0800–1630.
  • Work days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (per VMS work days).
  • Guaranteed weekly hours: 36.
  • Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
