Position Overview
Vivalon is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Supervisor to lead our driver workforce in San Francisco. This role serves as the first line of management for a team of drivers and attendants, ensuring high performance, safety, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
You’ll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and supporting frontline team members while helping maintain operational excellence in transportation services.
This role requires a Commercial Driver's License!
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., on-time performance, timesheets, SamSara data) and provide coaching and feedback
- Supervise, mentor, and support drivers and attendants to ensure high-quality service and compliance
- Conduct performance evaluations and deliver ongoing coaching, including corrective actions when necessary (in partnership with HR and Operations)
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and hiring decisions
- Foster employee engagement through recognition programs and appreciation initiatives
- Conduct ride-alongs and “followings” to assess performance and provide real-time feedback
- Serve as Supervisor on Duty as needed, responding to employee concerns, safety incidents, and operational issues
- Support training programs, including onboarding, remedial training, and CDL development
- Respond to field incidents (accidents, safety concerns) and conduct audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
- Assist as a backup driver or attendant when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Experience in transportation operations (preferably with driver oversight)
- Knowledge of ADA regulations and passenger transport safety standards
- Familiarity with state and federal safety regulations
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), or willingness to obtain one
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Vivalon service areas and contracts is a plus

- Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually (DOE)
