Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
• Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse
• Monitor and titrate Pitocin drips to support safe deliveries
• Collaborate with OB providers who respond within 20 minutes for after-hours needs
• Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with a hands-on approach
• Float occasionally to med-surg to lend a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
• Comfortable functioning independently in a small rural hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong LDRP and triage skills
• Ability to serve as baby catcher and transition nurse
• Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring system
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends
