Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional critical care to diverse ICU patients across multiple specialties
• Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics with precision
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while providing expert ventilator management
• Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients in MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU settings
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care with ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 based on patient needs

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Epic experience preferred, especially for first-time travelers
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties
• Comfortable managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Skilled in reading and interpreting telemetry strips independently
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities for high-acuity patients
• Flexible and adaptable to floating across various care settings
