Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirements to Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River locations with prescheduled floating when needed
• Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS, NBRC CRT or RRT, Wisconsin license
• NRP preferred certification
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Associate degree or certificate education requirement
• Work with equipment including Bipap V60, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, LTV1200 transport ventilators, Airvo2 (Heated High flow) and Optiflow, Resmed S10 auto cpaps
• Provide respiratory therapy support for all patient care areas including emergency department and general care areas
• Participate in emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment with assess and treat protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• Any scrub colors acceptable
• Strong documentation skills required

The respiratory therapy department supports all areas of the hospital and plays a critical role in emergency response situations. The facility maintains modern respiratory equipment and follows established protocols for patient assessment and treatment across all age groups.
