Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring C-EFM, BLS, and NRP certifications, with at least 3 years of L&D experience and a minimum of one prior travel assignment completed.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- On-call requirement of 8 hours per 6-week scheduling period
- Orientation begins on Mondays
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: C-EFM (through NCC), BLS, and NRP — all must be current at time of consideration
- Minimum 3 years of L&D RN experience required
- At least one prior travel assignment must have been completed
Additional Information
- Laboring nurses are expected to take postpartum patients as needed
- Baby-friendly organization designation
- Scrubs are provided
- Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
