Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT) position available in a hospital setting located in Wytheville, Virginia. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for Night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Location: Wytheville, Virginia
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, Associate Degree, and 0 years of experience
- Responsibilities: Deliver respiratory therapy treatments including adult ventilator management, CPAP, and pediatric respiratory care. Work within a 100-bed facility serving adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients. Equipment used includes vents, EKG, BiPAP, O2, among others. Must adhere to facility dress code (scrubs in any color) and follow safety protocols.
- Additional Information: The role is part of the respiratory therapy team working on nights, with no call requirements. The position involves working in a facility that has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and has a diverse patient population.
