**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist!** **Job Description:** - **Exciting Opportunity:** Start your career in a fast-paced environment where your skills will shine. - **Shift:** Work 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts. - **Experience Required:** Must have electrophysiology (EP) experience to contribute effectively from day one. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Support Cardiac Procedures:** Play a vital role in cardiac catheterization, preparing the lab and operating critical equipment. - **Ensure Safety:** Act as the radiation safety representative, ensuring patient and team safety during X-ray usage. - **Collaborate with Experts:** Work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency. - **Document Accurately:** Maintain meticulous records of patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and ECG recognition. - **Hands-on Equipment Operation:** Train and gain proficiency in cath lab technologies such as imaging systems, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems. - **Aseptic Technique:** Adhere to stringent sterile techniques at all times to ensure patient safety. - **Engagement in Team Efforts:** Participate in daily room checks, supply stocking, and patient transport as needed. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field (Bachelor's degree preferred). - **Experience:** 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred. - **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only). - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (AHA only). - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required (AHA only) for work in pediatric facilities. - One of the following certifications is preferred: RCIS, RCES, RCS, Radiography (R), CI, CV, VI, Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN, AE, or RVT. - **State Licensure:** State licensure required based on modality (e.g., Texas MRT or LMRT by TMB). **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
