Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract - Now Hiring

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing setting regain or improve daily living skills following injuries, illnesses, or during recovery. This role offers the opportunity to support an older adult population within a small community environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams and document according to facility standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and therapeutic activity planning preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 8-hour shift.
• Floating: Not required.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility. Clinicians will deliver assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to support safe discharge and functional independence.
