Location: Canon City, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
• Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure safe deliveries and positive birth experiences
• Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips to support optimal outcomes
• Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support fellow departments
• Maintain AWHONN staffing guidelines while delivering personalized patient care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
• ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
• LDRP experience strongly preferred
• Ability to titrate drips and manage high-acuity OB patients
• Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays, and call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Fetal monitoring and OBIX EFM system experience
• Comfort managing high BMI, diabetes, and substance use patients
• Strong communication and teamwork in a small unit setting
• Flexibility to float within the Zone 1 network when needed
