Drs. Chad J Anderson,  Igor Lozada, DMD, Marmar Mesgarzadeh DMD, Khara C Gresham, DMD, MPH, Sarah Stipho, DMD, MS and Ajisa M. Liti, DMD, practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers, dental implants, crowns and bridges.
 
Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent Dental Office Receptionist to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the Dental Office. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms
  • Maintain a clean and inviting environment
  • Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
  • Organize office and assist Dentist and Dental Staff in ways that optimize procedures
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Proven experience as a Dental Office Assistant/Receptionist, or in another relevant administrative role
  • Knowledge of computer systems (Dental software Dentrix)
  • Working knowledge of Dental Office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both face to face and by phone)
